Burt is Back to Work
I spoke with a friend who works at the Fort and they had a job opening that needs to be filled desperately. In these tough economic times your father has decided that he is coming out of retirement to work for the summer shoveling horse poo on the island. He seems excited about it-exercise and free fertilizer for the strawberry plants that Cheryl bought us last year. We are so blessed! He starts the third week of May but will take off for the reunion week.

Oh, man.... I totally bought it!
...wait, that was a joke?....c.
Suria was here this week-end...
Oh smack! She got me!.....c.
I think the "we are so blessed"helped seal the trick.
Yeah, this totally faked me out. I kept picturing dad shoveling horse poop and thought about how it would be a cool job, but not so hot for the back.
Then I wanted to call to see if it was real but didn't know how to ask without sounding rude.
That was a good one.
Must be those "monkey genes.
I totally bought it also.
